Next Steps
To help it really sink in, read the following article titled “How to talk about climate change across the political divide.” Since many of the examples provided in the lecture are attached to a very specific political or religious ideology, this article on the life of Katherine Hayhoe shows how we can bridge the divide.
After reading, open the notes app on your phone and answer the following questions:
In your opinion, what are some bad examples of telling a climate story? On the flip side, what are some good examples? What made these examples “good” in your eyes? Who do you think of as a “good” advocate for climate action?
